Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello all,

I had some trouble lofting these curve but i figured it out. Well now the issue is how can i make my geometry scale to the shape of my image sampler gradient? basially the gradient subdivided into strip that follow a pattern. ( first strip.. dark to light, second strip, light to dark) so i want my gh geometry to follow that pattern.. please any help will be great!..

best

Here is a solution with Mesh Colours..

I guess mapping gradation (or various colors) on one surface is unavailable in rhino..

Hello Jessi,

Well what im trying to do is make the image follow the gradient. Even if it was a solid gradiant that flows from dark to light still wont follow that gradient. im attaching another bitmap. Test it out. and let me know.

Thank you for your help

Jissi,

I guess its not clear my question,

I want what i build in gh, the strips to follow the gradient flow. Ive been trying to do so. With the image that looks like a zebra. The parts where it goes from dark to light and light to dark, I want my strips in gh to resemble that pattern. Not how they are behaving as it is now.

thanks for your help
