scale objets from diferent points...and/or...intersection between planes

in the file...messy, as i am still newie, i have done some process to create some fluorescent lamps from a curve divided in distance metres and configurating some diferent measures for the pipes and so on...
my troubles appear when:
a) after a 2 planes intersection, it gives me the line and it measures 1 unit. i would like to control the length, but i still don't know how.
b) other way of getting it would be scaling a group of objects, but each of them form its center...which i am not also able to do it. creating list for this...then cull?...
any help would be great, thanks.
pd. sorry the file i wrote the texts in spanish, if necessary i will translate it

any curve should work, so i just dont upload a 3dm file, ok?
thanks

a. There is a extend curve component that you can use with a slider or whatever you like...

b. You have to input all the base points for the scale component (for every line you need a base point), for this, you can evaluate every line or curve at t=0.5 for the center (0 or 1, for the extremes).

i dont understand the..."evaluaty every line or curve". what is the slider in the middle?
thanks
a. the extend component i used in my file, what i need would be a trim component...or somehow determine the length of the intersection between the planes
1. the slider is a curve point component is the same that a evaluate curve component.

2. you cant use negative numbers with the extend curve component, so only works if you want to do a larger line. Use the scale component on the line, not the pipe if you want to do a smaller tube.

Here an image to explain all this (save it to see it larger):

MUCHAS GRACIAS. i didnt have "point on curve" on my grasshopper version.
now its done.
will keep trying with little "projects" to understand the methodology of the programme.
hope i can be so helpful to someone someday

thanks thanks
