same component, same input, different result

What am i missing here?

Out of the explode component, come 400 untrimmed surfaces. I fed these to the two evaluate surface components. The uv input to the evaluate component is the same 0.5,0.5,0.0 point (ignore the two point components, even if i feed the same one its still the same).

As you can see, one evaluate component outputs a list of points, (0.5,0.5) on each surface, the other one outputs a single point.

The difference is that, the single point component was a fresh one that i just used in this definition, the other one i pasted from another one. What am i missing here?
