Running Rhino in Parallels - help with two minor issues

Hello helpful forum folk.

I have recently installed Rhino onto my Mac running on parallels (i understand it would work more smoothly with boot camp, but i already have parallels installed) and due to the ease of working across the two platforms (my Adobe software is on the mac side)I would like to try and work this through. I have read conflicting reports, including some who find running rhino through parallels to work fine, as such i'd like to give it a go....

I have two minor issues.

firstly the icons for the osnap are appearing very large and they obscure the actual point you are trying to select. This i have found v irritating (please see screenshot attached)

the second is a slightly minor point, the zoom in rhino works the opposite way to many of the mac programs i use, I find it therefore irritating as my natural movement to zoom in zooms out and vice versa. Does anybody know how to change this in windows.

And thirdly (sorry just thought) the general resolution of the screen is set to be very small, the icons are pretty minute, but on the startup screen, the various options (i.e. small object mm, small object cm, large object etc.....) the writing appears too large and is not entirely visible. I'm guessing this is simply an issue of display resolution within rhino, but that is an educated guess.

these appear to be Rhino questions, not Grasshopper questions. You should probably post them on the McNeel discourse forums.

I think with McNeel's stance on supporting Parallels, JP was probably seeking out the GH users who advocate using it.

Issue #1 and #3 might be related to the text size setting in Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Display>Make Text and other items larger or smaller

Issue #2 Unless your mouse driver comes with specialized software the only way is to hack the windows Registry. ***Not Recommended for MAC Users*** :-) but there is a setting called FlipFlopWheel that can be changed to 1 under that device.

Click Start>Type Regedit into the search programs field.

Press Ctrl + F to open the find dialog box or Edit>Find

Look For "FlipFlopWheel"

The location should look like the attached image

Than Right click the Setting and select Modify from the context menu.

Set to 1
