algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all.

I have to say a big thank you to the addition of Escape button that stops the current calculation process when things go pretty wrong. The great thing is that you can jump out of the freeze and reverse your last action.

There are still a few things that perhaps could be improved to make the programme more stable.

1. The escape button cannot stop the preview: In some case where the preview is so complicated (after calculation) that it freezes everything for a long while, the Escape button wont be able to stop that process. (In Rhino drawing, we usually see the line saying 'creating mesh, Esc to cancel')

2. In Galapagos, the 'stop solver' button usually behaves okay, but if the calculation is very long process (eg: takes 30 seconds), I find that the whole interface will freeze, and the stop button is not clickable. It is very difficult to find the correct time (when one calculation is done and the next is about to begin) to press down the button. This results in a non stoppable solver.

I think there are more, but these two are the ones that bugs me most.

Cheers

Victor
