algorithmic modeling for Rhino

round number to thousands (K), and Millions (M) suffix

hi all,

I was trying to format my numbers to be displayed something like

  • 1        =>  1
  • 1.543  => 1.5
  • 23       =>  23
  • 136     =>  136
  • 6968   =>  6,968
  • 23067  =>  23.1K
  • 133031 =>  133K
  • 34333212 => 34.3M

I don't know how to even place it in the #C component of grasshopper, so I can try and edit it to my desired results

Some methods listed in the above thread sampled (but most are ... well ... like killing a mosquito with a bazooka).

In the end I used this solution that kind of works ok, I couldn't manage to make your work... haha difficult if I have no clue of #c
