Rotation of a plane around its u- or v-axis through its center

Hi everyone,

This one should be easy but I cannot seem to find how to do it.

The code below gives the rotation around a world plane, but I want to rotate it around the plane's own axes.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks!

hey Erik plug the C in the area component into the O of the plane component

How silly of me, of course! Thank you!

However, my code is wrong. Instead of rotating it around the local YZ-plane, I need to rotate it around the local u- or v-axis that runs through the center of the plane. Would you know how to solve that?

Thanks.

deconstruct the plane and choose the axis.

Hi Erick,

Thank you for your response, but I forgot to mention that my plane is actually a planar surface, which won't connect properly to the deconstruct plane component.

I supose that your surface is in the yz plane, see attachment

Thank you Erick.

However, it does not solve my problem. I will try to explain what I'm doing.

I want to rotate these panels around their longitudinal axis, and thus around the curve that runs through their centers. The picture below is what I get when they are rotated 180 degrees (green), but actually they should coincide with the original (blue) at that angle. I hope you understand what I mean. Thank you.
