algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello All,
I have been trying to rotate my grid pattern using attractor points, it almost looks like it is spiraling. It is a little confusing to me how to do it. I am including a picture that describes exactly what I am trying to achieve. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Thanks for your post, it is quite efficient. I tried posting my solution yesterday afternoon but I don't know why this did not post, however after many tries I finally got it to work. This definition does what the image is suggesting. However, I wonder if it is possible to start trying to get the "spiraling" down. What do you think?
In your example you rotate the pills by an angle in degrees equal to their distance from the attractors. This seems to work in your file only because their distances vary from 0 to 90 so this is "converted" to degrees well. If you change your grid size the problems start...
my last guess would be to work with fields. Although I am not very familiar with them, I gave it a try and I think the result is a bit closer to the desired.
maybe someone more experienced could help more.
This is great, thanks Nikos. I would like to learn more about the fields to start
utilizing their potential. Again, thanks for the help.
Hi Nardo,
Thanks for replying. This picture is quite interesting, Do you happen to have a definition I can look at as to how to apply this to future iterations? Again, thanks for responding.

Sure. Here is the def.
This is interesting, I've never used tween curves. I am excited to see what I can do with them. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the tip.
