Roof similar to the roof generated in Revit

I am trying to make a roof that acts like the roof generated in Revit, means that I can change the angles of each segment and the roof will be generated automatically.

Here is the extract of the project I am doing where I am showing the definition of the roof I am trying to do.. i am blocked and I cant know how to continue, I want my roof to be made from the intersection of these plans, so whenever I change the angle of one angle the roof will automatically change... any help in this issue

No I understood about scaling the rectangle to have a clean difference.. But as I said before, this definition is meant to be used by public that have no background In such programs (use for some NGO groups) so I am looking for a definition where I dnt have to change the scale of the box when the rectangle is bigger or smaller... Yet some forms can not be generated.. Maybe I am thinking like in revit when we have to make a roof and we just define the angles of each segment without having problems in the overall form

Thank you mhanna for your advice but actually I am getting there.. Am working on the defition Pieter had done and I think I m close..
