algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hi all,

I'm doing a road distribuiton inside geometries. I'm getting a similar result to what I want, maybe someone can think of a better solution or help me get nearer of what I want to do. And I cannot think of a way to get consistent scaling factors without the solution going crazy.

- I have several geometries (diamond shaped)

- the geometries are divided in a series of rings

- the rings are connected in ramification, from the center to the perimeters

- the connecting roads are offseted to generate width in a gradient, the further away from the center the more width (now I'm only performing a width per curve break).

I would like  the roads to have variable width along their length, not with steps like in the picture.

does anyone have an idea on how to optimize the scaling factors or how to do a variable width?

cheers,

rbbt

Hello,
You could use

Or

With my script you need to give a width to the beginning and end of each line

amazing! thank you I'll check it out
