Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I know, he doesn't represent the parametric architecture application (the only grasshopper and Rhino that he uses was his mind and hand), but I consider him like the most important (or last) free-form curve builder in the last century. With not info-graphic tools he rise the curved architecture design to the top.

He was (is) a great source of inspiration for all of us.

RIP Oscar.

Very nice of you Angel, for mentioning this. And I like the choice of images.

I used to (still do) love his Mandadori building in Italy.
Modern architecture wouldn't be the same without him.

He died yesterday at age of 105.
Condolences too.

Any source on that?

I can find sources that he was sent to hospital. Lots of sources saying he's in critical condition and even one source citing a press release from the hospital that his condition is stable and improving. No sources on his death, though.

Hm.
I read it on local social network.

But now when I did a search on Google, there is no proof about this. Only statements about going to hospital, like you said.

You must be right, internet blah, blah.

alive or already immortal. anyway - i would agree on angel. he belongs to this small group of people who represent the essence of architecture. good journey Oscar!

¬¬...I don't understand why people extends hoax...

Wow you scared me Angel. Although I know it will happen sooner or later, I still feel like he is immortal. I love everything about Oscar Niemeyer.

It seams to be true...:(
