algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
I have Rhino 4.0 SR8 and downloaded and installed the latest version of grasshopper (grasshopper_wip_20101211) from the site. But, when i open a blank rhino file and try to run grasshopper the following (attached) messages appear and the initialization fails. I have tried to uninstall and install from scratch rhino and i have also tried an older version of grasshopper (grasshopper_wip_060059) but the same message appears always.
Do you have any idea of what could the problem be?
Thanks,
mikela

getting this error also with the latest V5 WIP.
update: I just closed Rhino, started it back up, started grasshopper and had no problems. odd.
hello,
did you find any solution ?
I am facing the same error.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
I was not able to find anything. That error message is so obscure there isn't a single useful Google hit for it. The CheckNReturnSO is implemented as an InternalCall in the .NET framework, so I can't look inside of it. And the entire CodeAccessSecurityEngine class isn't documented by Microsoft.
I really have no idea how to get more information about this.

I know this is an old post but I was getting the same message. I fixed it by downloading the latest Microsoft runtimes from the link right above the link to download grasshopper on this page. http://www.grasshopper3d.com/page/download-1 That might be everyone's problem here.
Welcome to
Grasshopper
