algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi! I'm new to both rhino and grasshopper and not that computer literate. I'm doing an assignment for Uni where I have to 'build' a table in grasshopper. I have drawn a line in Rhino which I need to get into grasshopper to start making the table. Can anyone explain how I do that?

Select your curve
Go to Grasshopper and drag a curve component onto the canvas
Right click the curve component
Set one curve
Voila- you have your curve into grasshopper!
