Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

im fairly new to GH.

So here is what i like to do:

Get an image (or multiple) (.jpg) and analyse different parts of the image for RGB values and brightness.

I face 2 issues were i like to be pointed in the right direction:

1. Apply Grid (n-dividecurve) to the image or how to apply curves to surface. analyse each segment seperatly. (or maybe this approach doesnt work and need another)

2. and how to input these parts into imagesampler.

so i would really appreciate if someone could tell me some nods i should check out or where to look to learn this. that would be awesome.

thanks

Hi.

Looking for something like this?

You'll need "Human" plug-in.

Hyungsoo Kim Thanks alot. thats very nead.

I have a followup question: The Image Sampler gives R-, G-, B - Values, which are different to the RGB Value. Does anyone know the formular behind it or the settings to change them?

Same goes for brightnessvalues.

You can use "Colour RGB (f)" component to combine R, G, B channel data(floating point).

nice thanks

Check this.

Right now im using RecGrid or RectangularGrid to get points to analyse. I do get different values, so something is happening.

What i cant seem to find or construct is a documentation (how does RecGrid calculate points) or how to make the points visable. As you can see in the screen, the points doesnt match the picture at all.

Another issue:

I like to create an input for both the Image Import and the Image Sampler. Like one Import for both components.
