algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi yall,
Basically I would like to have holes in the surface of a sphere that respond to a vector.
Although I was successful on applying the definition to one sphere.
It always crashes when I finally try to apply to the group of spheres.
Also if anyone knows any other way to do all this please tell me.
The idea is to make these holes that gradually get smaller until disappear in the surface of all those Spheres.
(for that I used a solid difference with cones. There was also the possibility of doing a series of points with circles
and attractor point and then project this geometry on the surface and cut it (way to complex) I found out that the cones have the same effect and seem to be simpler?
The final result is to have all these spheres cutted by holes in the place where the vector hits the sphere (solar radiation).
Please help me.

Generative algorithms Zubin, page 116, Responsive Modulation, was my second try, ive tried to do in the definition, its not working either.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Al. The operation you are trying to do is too hard to every core. i made some changes and solid diference only with 4 spheres:But the most important: I have replace your surfaceframes used tu divide de circle because here is where your tree breacks.
Finally i´ve morphed only one sphere because all the time spent in compute... Hope helps ;)
Will take 4 min to open...
Mr. Canada,
thanks allot for your answer again, you are a pro man.
that looks awesome.
cheers mate
But like wasn't it suposed that some of the surfaces have -False? Like in the tutorial, ive done exactly the same as it said there, but it turned out to be, that all the surfaces get the target box (True), even the surfaces that are not exposed to the vector. The definition is written for the purpose of creating two different possibilities for the morphing, and according to the vector, it will respond depending on the angle of that vector? Please send me your feedback.
