Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi there,

I don't know if it's a stupid question, but using kangaroo, when I close grasshopper and reopen the file, I must to reset the simulation and restart it, because otherwise I don't see anything. There is a way to preserve the resolution made before closing the program even when the file is reopened?

Not a stupid question at all.

The data created within Kangaroo's iterations does not currently get saved with the Grasshopper file.

What you could do is connect a 'Geometry' parameter to the output, and after reaching a result from the simulation right click it and choose 'internalize'

Its data then becomes separated from Kangaroo and is embedded in the ghx, and will be there again when you re-open the file
