Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi again everyone!

Lately i have been working with circle and i am getting really close to my goal.
I have been packing circles into curves.
Right now i am trying to get my circles adapted to the boundary line using kangaroo physics. I've tried lots of definitions and finally got one which is doing what i want but with some errors.
As we can see, the circles are getting adapted to the boundary curve but they are intersecting with each other. So here's my question: is there  way to make them "repulse" against each other with kangaroo?

Thanks.

I posted a definition in this discussion that I think does what you want:

Hi Aishwarya,

Daniel's Kangaroo Plugin is the best-known solution for packing problem

however, I tried something very simple for packing, with a standard Grasshopper definition + Anemone, You might want to try the file

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/reversed-packing-differen...

if you added your file here, we might try it for your above drawing

Hi Mohamed! Thanks for the reply and the file.
But i have i small issue using it. I'm trying to input my circles but the loop start component doesn't really recognize them. Here's my file.

Hi,

It was an initial try, however, I tried to improve it, it works fine till 10 circles,

I need to work on it again and fix many bugs

very slow(20 min) , but it worked things after 270 iterations
