Replacing Branches

Could someone please help me with what seams to be a simple replace branch problem. I want to replace the curves in the two branch tree with the ones in the 24 branch tree as shown below:

Hi SMP, 

Thanks for sharing the useful way to split paths with the 'split tree' component. I hadn't thought of this 

. Anyway to simplify things I believe you can do away with the 'replace paths' section of the def.
