Repetition of patterns on a surfacr

Hello to all people,

It is my first experience in "Intermediate Skill" ! Firstly, i tried to follow a tutorial to create a "pattern" surface to create almost a structure but that does not work. For information i'm using last version of GH :) You can see this screenshoot as attached in this discussion. I missed something ? :)

You need to put the surface domain and connect to the base domain input (divide I). Hope the image helps. You have the gh file also.

Otherwish, there is a small problem ! Components geometry exceeded limits of the area ! Can you see in this picture ?

I guess that happen because it´s a trim surface. Try to shrink the surface in Rhino. You have to take care how you construct surface in Rhino, and how grasshopper manage that geometry.
