Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey guys

Im having problems trying to render something, first of all because there are many many lines so I believe I can´t render lines, Ive seen this discussion http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/is-it-anyway-rhino-could-be but none of those methods helped, I was thinking if using weaverbird would help me but I couldnt figure out how to mesh the form the lines were giving me, I would REALLY appreciate if someone could take a look and give some suggestions. Ill attach the .3dm and the .ghx files, the lines I want to render are the ones under the component proximity 3d.

Thanks!

Hi Jorge, In the Rhino Document Properties, you can set "render curves";
Rhino Render> Miscellaneous> Render Curves. Is that what you meant?

I selected the "render curves and isocurves" option but when I try to render it, it says "Nothing to render" do I have to select the lines in a specific way to render them?

I just realize that I was trying to render with Vray not rhino and it worked with rhino but the look that I was trying to get was something more like this image

Ah that explains it~
I don't how this would be done in Vray.. surely it comes with a help file, not?

I´m looking into it, but I think it doesn´t work the same way as the rhino render. Do you know if the "curve piping" rhino plug-in could be useful in this case?
