Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am trying to remap the hexagonal grid to a curved surface. I tried remapping the points of the grid to the surface and remapped the points into domain 0 to 1 and reparameterized the surface but the grid still doesn't fill the surface. Also the polyline command I have doesn't connect the points on the edge.

Can someone give me advice?

You didn't internalize your 'Srf' parameter.

Did you see this post in another thread?

What do you mean by initializing the surface parameter?

I'm quite new to grasshopper so can you explain it to me please?

Your GH code has a 'Srf' input parameter that typically refers to Rhino geometry.  Without the Rhino file, the GH file doesn't work.  You can fix that by posting the Rhino file with your GH file _OR_ you can right-click the 'Srf' component and select the "Internalize data" feature, which causes the GH file to remember the surface without needing the Rhino file.

Oh yeah i forgot to post the rhino file sorry

Hi.

You have almost made it.

I working in a grid like this and I want to set an object perpendicular on each part of hexagonal.

I used paneling tools that changed scale of object that is not my purpose.

Thank you guys for the help
