Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Trying to use the Region Slits component and getting the "shape must be a planar region" runtime error even though all the intersecting regions are most definitely planar. I've tried constructing the regions in about as many ways as I could think to mixed results. It's only getting about half of the intersections.

I know that this issue has come up before. Anyone come up with any work arounds?

Hello

You curves are fine according to grasshopper. Must be something with slits component.

Trim solid is a nice and quick component for such cases. (and for intersections in general)

cheers

Alex

Thanks for looking - yeah I checked for planarity, I lofted the curves, I made planar surfaces, I used closed planar curves....just about everything the region slits component will take. It just seems a bit buggy.

Any thoughts David?
