Region Difference, Multiple Curves, Zero results

Hello,

Is there a known issue with using region difference to subtract multiple closed curves from another closed curve? (see image) I keep getting 0 result from the component, and I've tried every possible combination of flattening and grafting and simplifying.

Is there a fail-proof method for doing this type of subtraction that people use?

I'll try to replicate the error with a less complicated definition to post it, but thought I'd ask first since this seems to be a finicky component.

Yeah I can repeat that. So far it seems to be a genuine bug, still digging though.

I tracked it down as far as I could understand what was going on, but whatever is going wrong is far too deep in the core. I made a YouTrack item for it: http://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-28921

In the meantime the attached approach seems to work.
