algorithmic modeling for Rhino
good evening at all. I'm designing a double-curved surface and I would like to discretise it with square panels. the problem is that the panels have edges with a fixed angle that varies between 5, 10 and 20 degrees. Is it possible to redefine the surface with these panels and pre-set corners? Thanks to everyone I hope I have explained.

Not easily. With a limited set of allowed tiles the amount of shapes you can approximate without severe zig-zagging is pretty small. Tiling an arbitrary doubly curved surface with only squarish tiles of more-or-less fixed size that must meet exactly along their edges is almost certainly impossible.
But it all depends on your doubly-curved shape, if you can share more details, a more relevant answer may be possible.
hello david and thanks for the reply. for now I do not have a surface yet. I'm working on a panel that has the ability to change the angle of attack with the next panel, actually it's a kind of modular brick. the two pieces are tied together by a zipper and between the two I have the possibility of having a corner of 0 5 10 or 20 degrees, as I had written before. The shape of the surface I wanted to get is a sphere or like a shell of an egg. I'm trying to figure out if smartform can be useful to me. the algorithm should be able to choose between the 3 choices and I understand it's not an easy thing
I can better explain the pieces that can rotate between them but only the predetermined angles
