Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey I was trying to create a recursive subdivision component in python, and I have gotten fairly far with help from steve bear on the rhino.python website, but I am trying to add some additional outputs for the grasshopper component.

I can currently output the faces of the subdivision, and the GUID's of the face edges, but not as edge curves, and I can export the center points of the faces, but I am getting more points then desired from the previous surface before it is subdivided.  i think its just an indenting or location error somewhere but i cant figure it out.

here is a picture of the problem, it looks like this:

but i want it only in the center of each surface as shown below (using the GH area component):

any help would be much appreciated, or advice for cleaning up the code at all.

Hi Andrew,

the following would be a way to make this work. Just like the original, it has the potential to create a large amount of geometry, so choose the values carefully.
