algorithmic modeling for Rhino

"Recursive datastream, this component depends on itself"

I got this error message for the first time today. I think I have an idea what it means, but I don't know what to do about it.

What if a component generates information that you want to use in that same component? Is there a way to save this information and feed it from another source? Hmm... I guess not huh? I'm not quite grasping this problem I believe... Can someone please enlighten me? :-)

Grasshopper does not support recursive definitions... data only flows in one direction. For recursion, you will have to depend on scripting in C# or VB.NET.
