recording frames as simulation runs

Hello,

I have a question. I am running a simple kangaroo simulation at 20ms and it is display absolutely perfectly. however I am also wanting to pull out a frame at 1 second intervals to display separately whilst the simulation is running. My instinct was to use data dam at time interval (see attachment) however because time isnt a booleon operation it essentially does nothing and a manual click is still needed. Is there a operations which will allow me to pull out information at a specific time interval?
