algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

Does anybody know how can a read using grasshopper a txt file hosted on a FTP server?

I have my own user - password ..

Hi Santiago,

you'll need a Script component that uses some .NET method to download FTP data. I've never done this before so your guess is as good as mine.

Hello Santiago,
I put together some components for uploading and downloading files using FTP back in April.... they work with 0.60059 last I checked....

The components provide inputs for FTP address, file path on your local drive, user name, and password. Clear out whatever information I have in the text panels and replace it with your information.

The download components will output a file path that you can connect to the Grasshopper file reader component.

Have a look at the attached file and see if it is what you are looking for....

Would it be possible to update these scripts? I get the following error running Rhino 6 @ Windows GH 1.0.0007

"An exception occurred during a WebClient request. (line: 0)"
