"Read File" component bug?

I am using the "read file" component to read values from a .txt file. 

 

I am new to grasshopper, but I believe the read file component is referencing the old SDK? A "custom compiler error" pops up every time i click into the component. 

 

Essentially I am trying to read the txt file values in real-time, while another program updates the values in the text file.

 

I believe the critical issue is the "read file" component not being updated.

 

Is there any way around this? can i edit the component somehow? Is there a new grasshopper release in the not too distant future that will solve this issue?

Hi Bryce,

 

yeah, it's broken. I already fixed it but I'm some time away from releasing a new version. Few days at least, though I hope to have something out before the end of the week.
