Randome placement of lines on a defined surface?

Hej All,

 

i want to place a defined amount of lines (the number of lines changeable via a slider) on a defined surface with boarders. Means no line is allowed to cross that boarders.

The lines sould place themeselves randomly on that surface (also in direction(rotation))

 

Is there an easy way of doing this?

And I forgot the randome lines, at best shouldnt cross each other.
