algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

My goal is to try to take a random volume from Rhino and to divide it into a list of layers, would I have to create a component that does it? Would I have to install a specific plugin? If yes, which one?

Thanks

Try the 'Brep | Plane" component, found under 'Intersect | Mathematical'.

Explained by David Rutten at 1:20:00 in this tutorial video:

Attaching the relevant .gh file he created for the video - can't remember where I found a link to download all the models for that webinar.

Thx for the answer,

Once I have divided the part into layers and in the 3 directions,  I now want to make a list of all the points that are at the intersection of the 3 surfaces. What is the best way? (I tried doing the brep brep method, but it didnt give ALL the intersections)

Thank you
