Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hello, I have been looking for a long time to find randomly rotate, randomly move and randomly scale multiple curves around their relative centroids or mid points.

Any ideas?

thx

Hi Daniel,

This is almost what I was thinking.

With this method, I end up transforming multiple curves but I can only bake the moved, scaled, rotated object one by one. Meaning I get three versions of the same curve.

I was thinking I could bake all curves that would have been randomly moved, scaled, rotated at once.

Any thoughts?

Upload your file please.
Seems that you are somethin wrong...

Thnx Daniel. You can see that they are 3 individual transforms

You were doing transformations in 3 scripts, so only you have to join the script in one.

Oh, silly me!

Thanks so much Daniel!

This somehow reminds me a small tutorial that I've made long time ago for a friend (then: newbie in C#, now: he can walk the walk).

Have some fun.

Hi!

Very simple and useful operations. I think it's very interesting and I have a question about it. How would you contain that random geometries in a region or surface?
