algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi everybody.
Im hoping that someone in here might be able to help me with a design challenge I have at the moment.
I would like to create a grid of random sized rectangles, and then be able to scale them according to an attractor line. The attached plan is showing what i'm going for, but I drew that in Rhino, for my last crid, and I would rather have it as a script..
I have tried searching for a solution for some time now, but without any luck. I have been looking into packaging scripts, and tried with the packrat plugin, but it was not quit was i was looking for. I also looked at the Quadtree component but that is not the way ether I think. I hope some of you can give me some advise or know of a plugin that can help, or even get me stating on a python script, if thats necessary?
Kind Regards
Mikkel, Denmark

Hi.
I didn't find a 100% good solution. But this script

by peter fotiadis is very close, I just need to be able to control the scale.
