algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi everyone,
I spent the last few days trying to solve how to generate random points inside a triangle (for example in a mesh, as in my case i need to create random holes inside a mesh).
I saw that many posts in this forum didn't have an answer on how to do this, so I think that to share this results can be useful for other people that probably were stuck at the same point as I was...!
I have to thank all the people that started posts and discussions about this issue, because I always found interesting links where to learn new things!
This is my result:

I did it in two different ways, one using math formulas and scripts, and the second using Kangaroo - re-using the fantastic definition by Daniel Picker! Thanks a lot for sharing it!!
You can go to the link to follow the entire process, was too long to copy and paste here.
I'm not entirely sure if both my approaches are 100% correct. It would be great if anyone of you have time to take a look at it, to see if there are mistakes.
I hope this may help other people who were stuck.
If you know bettere methods, please let me know, as I am developing this to create a CNC cut metal structure that will be built soon for a project...
(ghghghg and as this is the first time I'm creating for "real" something generated with Grasshopper, I want to avoid massive mistakes... ;)
Any tip, link, suggestion to make this in better ways is welcome!
Bye!

Well done and very interesting. Thanks for posting this. Be sure to post something about your CNC result.
