Random Points - Fixed Intervals

Hi everyone,

I've seen this before on the forum but I don't remember where. I apologize in advance for the possible double post.

Is there a way of generating random points on a selected surface?

My thinking was doing a surface divide or surface frame and then selecting random points with a fixed interval between the points. 

In short, is there a way of generating random numbers with a fixed interval?

Thanks Minh,

Here's another way of doing it. I achieved an interval in terms of coefficient but not really in terms of distance but it seems good enough..
