Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am having issues with a Grasshopper definition that takes a small brep and randomly rotates it inside a larger brep. The issue I have is some of small breps reside outside the larger brep.

I am not sure where to look. Someone helped me with this definition a few years ago. If I have just one large prep to fill, i just delete the exterior beeps.

I would like to use it more and understand what I am doing.

Thanks, «Randy

Yeah Ning seems to be having a lot of trouble today being Ning. Not sure when it'll be back to normal but I guess until then attachments aren't going to work.

Hi Mohamed,

I will look at your suggestion,

"just use points locations + plane normal (for rotation axis)+ orient Brep"

Until NING is back to normal, I will play with those ideas. I thought it may have been a bounding box issue, but that doesn't seem to make sense.

Thanks, «Randy

another try

I think this works for me , thanks all!
