Quick question: How to offset/extrude a circle/cylinder inwards?

Hey everyone!

How do I offset/extrude a circle/cylinder inwards?

I'm just trying to give it a thickness really. I tried plugging in the normal an an amplitude into extrude but that didn't work.

Would be really thankful if someone could give me some guidance or advice!

Thanks in advance

Hi Ra,

You could use the Offset Loose component. [v0.7.0055]

Hey Danny,

Thanks but I'm still using v0.6.0059 'cause I'm using Rhino 4 (I think sr4). Would you by any chance know how to do it on the older version?
Hi Ra, sorry I got delayed with replying, work hey!

For version 0.6 you would need to go back to the curves that you use to create the srf and offset those and then loft again in the same way.

Hi Danny

Silly me! I must be spamming up the forums. Thanks a lot though! My laptop's going to hate processing this!

Hope work's going well.
