Question Regarding Lofting

Hello,

I'm trying to loft between two curves with Grasshopper. The curves are a list of mesh edges from two related meshes (one is offset from the other). If I bake the curves and loft in Rhino all works fine, but if I try and insert the same two curves into the loft component within Grasshopper, it gives me the following error: "1. Insufficient valid profile curves". I've attached a screenshot of the bit of relevant "code". Thanks in advance for any advice.
