Question regarding gradation

Hi guys.

I want to create an array of lines that slowly transits from a thicker thickness to thinner thickness and what i was thinking of creating was something that goes like this

I I I I I  I I I I O  I I I O O  I I O O O  I O O O O  O O O O O

So basically it goes in sets of 5, beginning with 5 thick rods, then 4 thick and 1 thin rod, 3 thick and 2 thin, and so on.

Is there a way to do this in grasshopper? including the creating of pipes.

I was thinking that this might need a C# script but im not too sure.

Please help!! this is quite important :\
