Question on selecting with data paths

Hi everyone-

I have what I hope is an easy question: I use data paths all the time - essential, really - but one thing I'd like to do that I haven't yet figured out is to select all downstream branches of data while keeping the general data structure. So, for example, if I have:

{1;0;0}

{1;0;1}

{1;0;2}

{1;1;0}

{1;1;1}

{2;0;0}

{2;0;1}

{2;0;2}

{2;0;3}

{2;1;0}

{2;1;1}

{2;1;2}

...and I want to take all of the paths based on the left-most value (say {2;X;X}) but keep the rest of the data structure information, is there a direct way to do that?

The question mark! It's the question that drives us, I suppose. This is exactly what I wanted to know. My workaround included some string splitting inelegance. Thanks, David! This is really enormously helpful.
