algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

Would there be a tool to quadrangulate mesh by any chance ?

I was trying to convert a polyline extrusion into a mesh but got triangle faces instead of quads as outcome. Would you guys know a way to extrude directly into quad meshes ?

Many thanks!

Hi Arthur,

there is a RhinoCommon method to do this. I attached a VBScript component that calls it. It will be in the Mesh Util section.

wouldn't the standart Mesh from UV Srf on the exploded single surfaces work in this case?

Thank you! How about complex meshes, is it possible to requadrangulate the entire mesh into new quads based on target edge lengths? I am looking for something like spectral surface quadrangulation.
