Python: Select curves

Hi All,

I'm trying to make a script that when a boolean button is clicked, it opens up a command to reference curves from rhino into grasshopper:

Seems to get caught in a loop and I'm not really sure how to get the button to work.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi James,

Why not just use the default Grasshopper components? This is the same behavior they have: when you ckick the menu, Rhino pauses and asks to pick objects...

Just not to re-created default stuff (a.k.a. "reinventing the wheel").

The reason this is not working is that you need to do this from outside the GH solution, but the button is pressed within it. If you use a Boolean toggle, it will work.

David R. may be able to tell more about this.
