algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Python questions

I'm trying to replicate this artery style model through a connection of points. I've been given a python script that should complete the job, but it doesnt seem to be achieving the desired effect. Can anyone who is good with python look over what i am doing and help me to achieve the effect I'm going for?
