Python Component's "Presentation Style" bugs ways to workaround them

In Rhino 5, w/ latest gh and ghPython

1.  If you copy and paste the python component when "Presentation Syle" > "Show output "out" parameter" is not selected then the new copied component doesn't have the first output variable.

If you have the out parameter showing then it copies fine.

2.  If you select the "Show "code" input parameter" the component bugs out.  Error message is "Warning: no script to execute".

Open Editor and Test your script to remove error

(Just saying: new way to rename, add, delete output and input parameters is really nice!)

This is for new python components and not ones you have saved from previous versions

Hi Jake

I am totally new with python, can you kindly explain how can i make python icon appear in grasshopper. (0.9.0056)

Can you tell me step by step?

Thank you

Hi Firat,

The Python component is currently not part of the native Grasshopper components set.
You will have to get it by installing the GH Python.

Yes, thats all i knew about it. I ve just downloaded python from http://www.food4rhino.com/project/ghpython (version of August 20th.)

but i cannot figure out how to utilize that one.

thnx Djordje

I ve just made it! I am one of those guys who buy an expensive professional camera and try to use it without reading even a single page of the manual.

By the way where can I find some ~worked examples~ for python? That would help me to understand it further & better.
