algorithmic modeling for Rhino

In an attempt to restore some order to the main forum, we'll try and separate the questions from the bug reports. If something is an obvious bug (or typo, or oversight, or whatever) that doesn't require discussion, please post it here.

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

Thanks for trying this out, I wonder where we are suppose to report bugs that are caused by the SDK? For example I have a long persistent trouble with region intersection. But the problem does not goes to GH development, it is more of a problem for the math team.

I guess the RhinoCommon isn't very stable at this stage of development right?

Cheers

Victor

RhinoCommon is changing a lot, so it's unstable in that sense. It doesn't seem to crash much, so in that respect it's pretty stable. Functions like Region Intersection are all defined in our core SDK (C++). RhinoCommon merely wraps those functions and exposes them for VB and C#, so any problem with things like Intersections or Meshing and stuff are most likely problems in Rhino itself. It's important we hear about this, even though it typically takes quite a long time to get these things fixed.

Feel free to post SDK bugs here as well, I'll make sure they end up with the right developer.
