Pulse/Impulse for a reset

Hi guys. I would like to reset the engine by Giulio Piacentino. The only way for do that is to use a boolean toggle/button. For what I have to do, I need this:

Condition: IF the number is changed in the yellow panel THEN give a pulse to reset the engine (a pulse with a duration of half a second). I was thinking of doing this with Timer, but I can't use it because give me a lot of problem with my Windows XP System. How I can do that? Thanks a lot guys.
