Pulling Curve onto a mesh surface

Within the rhino environment, I am able to do the above.  However in the grasshopper environment, the pull curve only works with brep surfaces.

I have found a way round this however by generating points along the curve, then pulling the points onto the mesh surface.  Then I create a new curve passing through this pulled points.  Would be neater if the grasshopper pull curve component can accept mesh surfaces as target surfaces.
