Proliferative Panels

I've been battling with this tutorial for some time but just can't crack it unfortunately;

My offset breaks at stage 21 and I'm wondering if it's an outdated tutorial given some of the old components. Would anyone be so kind as to troubleshoot my efforts or check the tutorial for things that may no longer work or be relevant? It would be great to see a functional definition for this!

I'm struggling at stage 30/31 and thinking it all goes wrong around the offset/surface cp stage.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Follow the tutorial and change the point connection order a little bit, The result was as follows

Thanks so much! I figured out what I did wrong..The tutorial doesn't mention the option for maintaining or renumbering branches and they were set to maintain by default. Perhaps this option involved another step in previous versions.
