Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Projecting a closed curve randomly on a surface and cut surface at those curves.

Hello all!

I am wondering how I am suppose to do this.

I have some surfaces and I have a shape (A triangle with fillet corners) that I want to project onto these surfaces, I want them to be randomly distributed on the surface and randomly scaled and rotated aswell. And If possible make it so these shapes cuts holes in the surface because these are ment to be windows.

I am thinking of cutting up the surface before projecting shapes on it so I can have bigger control over the surface affected (It might for instance not be so nice to have them over the tight edges and so on)

If anybody could help me with this I would really appreciate it!

Thank you!

With regards

Isak

oh I forgot to mentioning. The shape does not have to be a drawn shape, if I can genereate different triangles with fillet curves inside grasshopper that would be better!
