Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi there

I feel like this should be really easy, but can't figure it out. I have a series of curves that I want to resize and replicate by moving the end points along two rail curves. The reasoning is that the original production of the lines to be copied is highly involved, so it is much easier to just copy the results and resize them, but the shape must remain constant.

To clarify, I need to end up with multiple curves, not just the original moved to a new position. I have attached a much simplified example as the original file is to big to explain quickly.

Best regards

Ewan

'Sweep2' doesn't do the job for you?  Here are some ideas for scaling the station curve but lofting them won't give the same result as 'Sweep2' unless the start points are aligned to the divisions, as the end points are.

Very nice, Hyungsoo.  I forgot that 'Orient' also scales, based on the vector amplitude.  Not intuitive but wonderful!

Finally managed to get this reworked for the larger file and it's working great! Thanks Hyungsoo!
